My first LIS and fissurectomy April. All seemed well but I developed a fissure about a month after. I was on cream for quite a while but did not heal. The dr said he could be more liberal and do a second surgery. I had another surgery in October. I healed very fast and was fine at my post op. Now at five weeks I hav pain and bleeding again. I am not constipated, I eat fiber and have normal daily BM. What can even be done now? I'm discouraged. Any advice? I am going to call the surgeon and see him asap but its a busy week and might be a while for me to get an appointment.

Ouch. Sorry to hear. Please let me know what he says. I am in EXACT same boat. 2 lis and was feeling great. Retore- back burning and muscle pain.

I will let you know once I see the surgeon. I'm hoping I get answers to why I would heal and then be back in the same boat. I don't think I have an abscess or anything. Just feels like a fissure
