Need advice about steroid cream!

Postby soey » 02 Dec 2014, 09:14

Hello again!
After having botox a few weeks ago, I keep having alot of discomfort. It's getting on my nerves, and I'm not going back to the hospital to discuss the next step until next month.

I have a small hemmie now that might be one of the reasons why I have so much discomfort. And as my CRS says; alot of scar tissue.
However, I'm desperate to try Scheriproct steroid cream. I used this a few years back and it took away the pain AND discomfort. However, I know the steroid can make the skin thinner, and I'm scared to death that the scheriproct might make it worse! after all, I AM HEALED, and i would rather die than have another fissure.

Do you guys think its safe ? :dunno: My GP says 'go for it', my CRS tells me it wont do much good, but she's one of those fuc**** who says the 'pain i in my head' .

:thankyou:

You should be all right as long as you don't use the cream for more than two weeks at a time. Usually I wait 2 or 3 weeks before I start using it again. My doctor told me to use it only when (absolutely) necessary and not to use a lot.
