Hey all,

as you may or may not know I had sclerotherapy for piles a few months ago and that has pretty much got rid of my piles and my fissure has healed too! all good news

however, I get really bad pain when I touch/push specific parts of my sphincter almost like I'm pushing onto a paper cut!
when I rinse off after a shower I get the same pain, as if I'm pushing a pin in on specific parts.

on inspection in the mirror and a torch I can't see anything, it all looks fine! just tiny remnents of the Hemmys.

what's happening to me?? One thing healed and one more problem gained. This pain is horrible.

As you know I am going through the same thing.. I was still having pain with bm and lingering burning afterwards. I went to physical therapy to relax the muscles but it did not help, then I got Botox injected to my pelvic floor and the pain has decreased (touching the inside of my rectum was painful) now I only have pain at the Internal sphincter... My chronic pain doctor and my nurse practitioner who's doing the biofeedback both agree that my internal sphincter is still tight... I have requested a manometry test (pressure test) because I am tired of the medical inconsistencies. Perhaps this test can reveal something for you too?
