Ok. I am so sorry for this one, but I've had many many butt surgeries which did not heal my fissure, and am worried about my continence. The thing is, I'm worried that I am just paying too much attention to it now that I've had so many surgeries, and am becoming obsessive. So I'm taking a survey. How many of you can wear white underwear without even a superficial staining? I never wore whities before my surgeries, so I don't know if the surgery messed me up, or if I am just a complete nutcase. I'm thinking nutcase. But who knows.

As for me, I'm a female who has not yet had surgery or Botox. I wear regular cotton briefs. I do not typically notice superficial staining around the anal area, but it does happen from time to time. I haven't noticed any change in this since my AF struggles began.

I have read that some people on here have to wipe a second time after a BM for several months post-surgery. So before you get too worried, maybe check within 30-60 minutes after the BM and pay attention to when this is happening. If it isn't happening all day long, and only in the time shortly after your BMs, I wouldn't get too concerned! Otherwise it might be worth talking to your doc about.
