It's good you are having soft stools.
Did your doctor say you have an anal fissure? Did he/she give you any ointment or creams to put on your anus?
It can take a long time to heal - could be several months, and it is critically important that you don't have anal sex until you are fully healed, in case you tear again (assuming you do have a fissure).
