I have a big butt so I have to blow dry my rear..but I worry that I'm stretching the anal fissure. It doesn't bleed or anything but it is quite sore after I shower.

I have a bidet (sprayer thing next to potty, common over here) and I should remember to use that but I'm worried about drying out my bum...which is weird I guess.

How do you take care of your fissure while showering, etc?

Hey again Kat :-) I'm sat with my legs over the bathtub as we speak having a makeshift sitz bath. It's an interesting thing to bring up, I generally use a towel but don't rub. If I'm having a bad day I will get a single sheet of kitchen roll, bend over and just tuck it between the cheeks which drys most of the moisture up then repeat. This causes no rubbing or friction but I agree after drying I feel too dry down there too.

I feel too dry after my baths as well so I apply coconut oil to the area and that helps.
