How to deal with not being near a bathroom?

Postby daisy001 » 21 Jul 2015, 15:55

How do you deal with time periods where you might not have access to a bathroom, such as when you're on a bus? I'm in dread of having to go to the bathroom and not having access to one. That would ruin any progress I've made so far, and the progress is tiny anyway. But sometimes, I have no choice. For example, right now, I'm going to pick up my son at the daycamp drop off point and there is no bathroom at that location. Suggestions would be appreciated.

You have to live life, well, you must live life. I know it's hard but don't think about bathrooms.

Try to keep it to 1 bm per day, first thing in the morning. Makes the day easier to cope with.

In Finland we can go in public...so I've been known to use the nature potty :/ Not pleasant but if you gotta go, you gotta go.

There are medical cards saying if you have like a bladder problem or intestinal problem. I have a couple of these and sometimes you can get into stores that normally don't let you use a bathroom.
