Hello All,

Yesterday I had a particularly bad spasm day. I don't normally get spasms like that. So, today I have a kind of bruised feeling down there, I guess like the anal muscle is sore or something.
Anyone ever had this feeling?

I posted a reply and don't know where it went. Yes, I have bad spasms most of the day. When they do calm for a while, I feel bruised and beat up.

Thanks, Annie. I was getting upset because I have not had this feeling before ( not this bad) the last two times I had a fissure.
Does it subside after a while?

Well, I am still in spasm most of the day and night but I do not always feel the bruising so it does subside. I don't know how active you are. I am basically a house prisoner at this point but I do walk back and forth from my front door to my back door..LOL..20 minutes or so (neighbors must think I am somewhat odd) and it has seemed to improve the bruising type pain after a few hours. Not moving no matter how much pain I am in, makes it worse.

LOL. Well, at least you are aware of it and you try to get some movement in. I've been so fortunate that I haven't been housebound but only a few times and it usually gets better as the day goes on.
