Comfortable Sitting:Cushions

Postby Guest » 03 Mar 2007, 13:43

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to let everyone know about what I am doing to help with my sitting. I mostly avoid sitting but of course there are times like when driving I have to.
This cushion has the middle cut out down the middle so your bottom from front to back is suspended. The website that sells these is for people who suffer from interstitial cystitis which is a bladder condition but I know people with various pelvic problems who have benefitted from these cushions.
The website is http://icnshop.com/cgi-bin/ustorekeeper.pl?command=goto&file=DailyComfort-ChairCushions.html
if you want to check it out.
How do the rest of you make sitting more comfortable?

Wow, I'm sure I could have used one of those before I had my surgery! The design is interesting. Thanks for the information! Image

Almost as bad as the pain, my inability to sit got worse as the duration of the fissure increased. I really had no option but to do the one-cheek shuffle most of the time. I never found anything that helped me sit; my sofa became my refuge.
