Hemorrhoids banded question?

I had my hemorrhoids banded a little over a week ago.

I see that the hemorrhoid that is banded it is attached to a bigger one but it is not drying out and dying like it is supposed to. Maybe I should wait longer? It has been 8 days.

Any thoughts please?
