laxatives and pain killers

Postby purplemaf » 09 Apr 2016, 11:37

Hi I'm new here and have suffered from an anal fissure for over a year with temporary relief for couple of months. It is now back really bad and every time I do a BM it rips and bleeds with spasms for hours after. Which painkillers are best to take that don't cause constipation? Also BM don't seem that hard but are hard enough to rip each time so is it best to take laxatives to make it watery? Any advice gratefully received.

I use Milk of Magnesia. No cramps.

Best though is Miralax. I find Tylanol is ok and does not constipated.
:wel: to te forum.

Our search (above between FAQ and Portal is the best one) is excellent!
