LIS - does it widen the anal area?

Postby Tight » 02 Jun 2016, 10:47

Hi, pretty much per the title - will LIS widen the anal region and help expulsion of stools? I feel I need to get off the Laxidio, taking for 3 years, still getting superficial tears. I was wondering with LIS will this help, my stools are ribboned/mushy at best. But as soon as I ease of tears, more pain etc.....I won't bore you but you all wil know the script? Also the fact that wet stools can also iratate the anal passage.... Thanks

Hi
The lis is a small cut in the anal sphincter it loosens the muscles allowing your tears or fissures to heal ,make the spazams not as bad
This is the gold standard of treatment
