Lis surgery in 3 weeks!!!

Postby xxstaciexx » 11 Jul 2016, 11:46

Hi everyone.
Hope all doing well.
I have my surgery in 3 weeks time and although nervous can't wait to have it done lol.
Spent enough time faffing about all the time with these now.
Still nervous about the after surgery and pain but trying to put the positives back into my head of the pain will get better! One day I will be able to take a crap like a normal person lol.
Feel free to post any comments etc and recovery progresses etc xxxxx

I had the surgery 18 months ago and have been a happy pooper ever since.

All the best with yours in 3 weeks time and I hope that your recovery is swift and relatively pain-free.

Good luck and keep us posted.

:hugs:

I think that we were all very scared beforehand (it's perfectly natural!), but when you get to a point where your life is so affected by the symptoms, you really have no choice. Most outcomes are very good though, so you have to tell yourself that you will probably be in the majority and be back on track to a more normal life again soon.

Look forward to hearing all about it afterward.

Yeah Defo.
It's one of those things that just seems to control everything that you want to do. You get to the point where u think oh god if I have to sit on that toilet one more I'm gonna go insane.
I think my main concern is afterwards though. How bad the pain is going to be etc xxxxx

Thankyou.
I suffer with horrible IBS so I'm constantly back and forth to the toilet. I think this may have caused my fissures as I don't seem to remember being constipated
I said to my husband if I have to sit on that toilet anymore I'm gonna go insane.
I've had 4 children 3 were natural and 1 was Csection. I've had gallstones and the operation to remove them. Those where a walk in the park compared to this.
I'm counting down the days now until my surgery. Even though I'm nervous I know it can only get better from there. Xxx
