Post sphincterotomy question

hello! I had the LIS/Fissurectomy surgery almost 5 weeks ago... I had what appeared to be excess skin beforehand and it still appears to be there. Is this normal? My surgeon said it was inflamed tissue from the fissure NOT a skin tag so he didn't remove it...

I think no worries, it should not provide any problems in future for you. Are you fully recovered now?
