Thanks for answering. Does it seem to be severe? I have burning and occasional blood.

It all depends. If it bleeds alot Id advise seeing your GP. Otherwise, up your fibre intake, avoid foods that could constipate you, take a stool softener not stimulative laxative and loads of water. About 3l per day. If its still acute you should be ok pretty quick.

Bled a lot several weeks ago when I felt the first pain. Now it seems to be just ocassinally when I feel a sting. Mainly just on the tissue.

Oh and it's not incredibly painful like I read about. Mainly just a burning. Is that normal?

Several weeks? Longer than 6 weeks could be chronic but if it isnt really hurting just keep you stools soft and the area clean. Schedule a checkup so your GP can advise you on anything else like a zinc ointment to help aid healing

The burning is normal. Its a tear in the skin in a sensitive area. The fact that we defecate from there doesnt really help much.

Yes it's probably been 6 weeks. Cleared up in that time and came back slightly but not near as bad as the beginning. This was the first pic I was able to get. I was nervous that it doesn't appear to be at the 6 or 12 o clock but I guess it is for the most part.
