Hi J,

I had a hemo surgery two years ago. A bad ine because the hemos got a massive infection became biger than an orange... terrible just terrible. Went in an emergency op....but god say thanks everything went just fine. I had a great doc mede an ecxellant work. Anaesthetic guy asked me if I do some sports and he was suprised I said yes I do 80 km walking/month (that time I was an still in the parliament, used to be an MP) . Said if you are fit dont worry about anaesthetic! I got my consious a few miniutes after op finished no prlms no complication. Now they got some new high tech drugs. Nothing to worry about.

What op r u going to do? Spyctir? When?

My healing goes ok its slow but well and steady. No blood no pain since weeks.... it burns a bit during BM and when I give a finger touch at the spot 2-4cm inside....but I believe am doing. Suppostories seem to do some good culming and healin work..... used allready a pkt of 10.... one each day.

Telll me more about your op. Wish that this shall be the beginnig of a happy end for your BM!

All the best
Chris

The op is more a procedure to check what is going on inside. I'll be under full anaesthetic for it. I don't think they'll do anything on this occasion. I wish I didn't have to go through with it. I'm really not too bad at the moment.

I don't think so. I've already had a camera up there, and all it showed was mild hemos and a little diverticulitis.

When the specialist examined me I reeled in pain and he couldn't insert his finger. Thing is, he was at the wrong angle and tried to push right at the back where my problems lie. Had he straightened up a little it would've been fine. Now, maybe he couldn't get the angle due to the swelling or tear? This is what he's going to try to find out.

Hello, thank you for your message of support, that's very kind of you. Some of my closest friends who know in having an operation (though bit exactly what) didn't even wish me luck before leaving work yesterday, so I am humbled by your remembering it.

It is today, and I'm terrified. Things have not been so bad recently, no blood, no pain. But the last couple of daya have seen me with a dodgy tummy and that's not really helped. Had to rush to the loo 5 times yesterday, and today I'm more than a little sore. Assuming that the procedure is likely to make me sore too, I'm worried about the coming days.

However, as I'm convinced I won't wake up from the general anaesthetic, if I do come round and experience pain, it's a small price to pay.

If everything goes ok I'll try and add an update tonight.

Thanks again for your message.
