Silver Nitrate Therapy

I been dealing with a fissure for the last 7 months. Today dr done Silver Nitrate Therapy. ONG how long does this pain last. Got some pain meds but really has not releived the pain. What should I do to. Ale sirenits kept clean, dr has not given me any other meds or creams I'm worried about infection. Any suggestions on getting rid of this pain would be great. Is it normal to have spotting, I'm thinking so seeing it's like a burn

:wel: to the forum and sorry you're in such pain. I would ask for some pain killers from the doctor, as cauterizing any wound can only be painful! I am giving you a link below to others who have had it done.
