Oh Mojo so pleased for you that's great.
Can't imagine any reason now for you to go backwards. It's good your able to be more relaxed with you eating and back to the old you.
I'm okk still have burning and spasms when my colon shows off but so very much better than this time last year. When I have a normal BM I'm totally pain free.
Give it a few more weeks Hun and I'm sure there won't even be any discomfort
So happy for you x

Really pleased for u K!

I was even contemplating having a pizza over the weekend but feel that would be tempting fate.

Thanx Mypoor X

Sorry u still have spasms occasionally tho. I think I'd rather die than have another one of those. Still shudder at the drilling feeling in my feet and the glass effect. Is another pain more god awful? I realize how depressed and suicidal at times I'd been.

If it ever comes back I'll have to be carted off to the funny farm.

My marriage was going down the pan too. Partner still being patient. Who wants to dtd with a fissure flare up. Still don't tbh!

So yeah I'm reflective and thankful. Should steer clear of the pizza!

Think it helps that I have had 20 years to get used to living with recurring pain what with my IBS n crohns. They can't hold a candle to the spasms but have helped me adjust mentally lol

Oh yes I used to love that part of my marriage but for well over a year I just put up with it tbh now though as long as I'm not having a flare it's all like it used to be and I can climax without setting off horrendous spasms thank goodness
Here's to wine pizza and a bit of the other lol

Hey Mojo, I feel your pain. I had my surgery (both Fissurectomy and LIS) 2 days ago. After the anesthesia wore off, my bum was hurting pretty bad. Your nausea might be because of the anesthesia still in your body, your body will get rid of it with time and you should feel better. Sitz baths works great for me after BM. Hope you feel better soon.

How is everyone today I'm having a pretty bad day constant pain from my fissure an skin tag which was getting better an the skin tag was going down but now both feel like I've taken a step back thanks to a weekend with family eatting to much an the wrong foods had two bms instead of one an the set it off. My question is when I feel my fissure I can feel the parted area an it feels like it goes far inside an it feels rough I can feel the split it starts outside where I can see it. Can i heal this on my own? My doctor said scare tissue can soften an be stretched in time. Does my fissure or scar tissue sounds bad?

On day 10 post op. No probs at all.

Was gonna update as had check up Monday (now 3 wks post op) and the surgeon did an internal exam which didn't hurt at the time but yesterday and today been having pain localized to fissure site. She must've woken it from its slumber lol.

Hope no damage done. She sent me on my way with NO follow up appt saying I'm healing fine and she doesn't need to see me again. (!). Hmmm.
