Hi Staystrong, Haven't had LIS myself but can see myself sliding down that road. I understand your fear though. I know from botox that the first thing a CRS does is an EUA (Evaluation Under Anaesthetic). They will have probably performed the operation many times before, and will know whether or not to continue with the operation based on the EUA. I'm sure your CRS would be happy to talk about this before the Op.
LIS is supposed to be the "Gold Standard" for fissures, meaning that it works for most people who have it. Most people report very quick relief from what I have read. I hope it goes well for you. Let us know how you get on.
