Could this be inflamed internal hemorrhoid?

Postby patience_and_healing » 04 Dec 2017, 14:12

I had a scary experience today after my second BM. I saw some yellow mucus with some bright red blood stuck to it. Sorry for the TMI but I'm really worried since I've never experienced this before. :( Could someone please tell me if this could be related to internal hemorrhoids? I can't see anything visible externally at all.

Hey i don't think hemorrhoids would cause anything like that they are just swollen vains I would ask my doctor. Was it painful? I can't remember if you had surgery or not

I felt some pain at the beginning of the BM, but that's not something new, it happens every few days. Afterwards I had some burning but again, that's not new either and it went away after a while.

I did some googling and turns out internal hemorrhoids may create mucus. I probably irritated them from the spicy food I ate a couple of days ago.
