My surgeon said the botox would wear off in 2/3 months but so far I'm still incontinent
Anyone who experienced incontinence post botox able to advise at what point continence returned for you ?
To make matters worse the fissure hasn't healed ☹

Hi Jenny, how long is it since you had the botox? I never had incontinence but did find at first that when I needed to go I had to get there quickly! My surgeon told me quite often botox wears off after 8 weeks.

It could still be the botox as I know someone that was the same as you & it took more like 4 months for the botox to wear off & get back to 'normal'. I suppose everyone's different. Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks Susie
Thats reasurring to hear
My consultant had been very dismissive of the incontinence and doesn't see it as a problem as it won't be permanent
I would like to see him poo his pants in the street after a cup of coffee in a cafe !!!

Hopefully this finds that your continence has returned. I am just 1 week post Botox and just sneezed and had to rush to the bathroom to clean up. I am supposed to return to work tomorrow (i work in emergency services) and it’s definetly not going to happen with the way my condition is currently
