Hello when I had a fisurectomy, botox & sentinel piles removed I had an ache & was sore for a couple of weeks. I think most of the pain I got was from the sentinel pile removal! Make sure you take something to 'soften' your poo as this will help (I had 1 sachet of movicol) for a few weeks.

Thank you! I eat a very high fiber diet so I haven’t been taking any stool softeners but I’m regular and soft ☺️

I called the dr today and they asked that I come in on Thursday just to be sure I’m healing proper.
Another question, is the “leakage” normal? It seems like after I have a bm I have to go back and clean up all day long.

Discharge is normal, some people have it for two three weeks, don't worry. You will be sore for a few weeks especially if you sit for more than half hour at a time. Everyone is different but for me it took about 7 weeks to be able to sit all day at my desk and feel nothing. Definitely ask your doc what exactly was done to you and what should you expect during recovery. I can't believe you weren't provided with post operative care instructions.

Thank you. It’s funny when I called the receptionist told me I should not be in pain anymore at all.
Looking forward to get details tomorrow.

Yes I did and they removed the sentinel piles. It’s funny your timing because I’ve been healing great besides today I am in a bit of pain it’s very sore. I’m hoping that is all normal.

Still sore. Took a look down there yesterday and noticed a larg red bump which I think is a hemmeroid. Along with another sentinel pile looking thing. I think I’m going to make another appointment soon.
