Thrombosed hemorrhoids?

Postby Pain-is-my-teacher » 01 Jul 2018, 09:22

Hi! I’m new here! Happy to find a place where I can talk about this stuff!

Had two thrombosed hems. The pain was so bad I ended up taking myself to hospital for emergency procedure. General anaesthetic, they cut them open to relieve the pressure. But it’s been two or three days and i think they are thrombosed again. They are hard and painful. Aren’t they supposed to be soft like regular hems?

It’s possible they didn’t get the pesky little vein that’s feeding the hemorrhoids.

I’m back in the hospital but I’m not going to let them cut me open anymore. I’m going to just let them go away on their own.

Ask your doctor about it. If it's possible to treat it without any surgery that will be great :)
