8 weeks post fistulotomy recovery....early?

Postby mike1971 » 23 Jul 2018, 11:12

Hi all.

It's just slightly past 8 weeks post fistulotomy for me. I have no discharge and the wound looks pretty much closed from the outside, but I am still having some raw aches and discomfort, stinging, and soreness from the incision site......mostly a few hours after the days I have a bm (no pain during bm's).

I still can't sit comfortably for more than a few minutes and haven't been able to get back to work or even drive much for that matter.

Should I be worried at this point or do these things take more time?

Alright well can I ask for those of you who have had surgery, how long afterwards did it take before you felt comfortable doing the things you used to do?

Thank you for your replies.
