I have three anal fissures. i have been using rectogesic for a while and its been helping but unfortunately where i have been constipated i forget myself and tend to push
My question is do you think Movical is or could be better for softer stools than Lactulose

Movicol is definitely better. It also reduces stool size. I've tried both.

I recommend magnesium citrate. I am on morphine, and the magnesium citrate is the only thing that keeps me going.
500 to 800 mg per day spread out.
