Exercise

Postby Bloodybum » 29 Mar 2019, 12:07

I like to jog, but since I got this darn thing I can't go more than a mile without spasms kicking in and making me stop. Anyone can recommend a good cardio exercise that won't do that?

Do you belong to a gym? You can give swimming a try.

I’ve found the stair master is a phenomenal workout and also low impact. Didn’t bother my fissure. Just slow, uphill walking. I found myself panting and pouring sweat after just 10 minutes.

Thanks! I'll give the stair master a try. For swimming, is there any issue with exposing the fissure to pool water? Infections or anything with the chlorine?

Swimming in a pool is awful, I tried when my fissure was open and I got terrible pains from the chlorine. i clearly advise against this.
