Three Days... Three Tears (rant)

Postby Biaxident » 24 Sep 2011, 10:39

These things are baffling! I had gone over a month without a tear. Now, I've had three over the past three days, each bloodier than the last! I switched from Dulcolax to a generic of Miralax yesterday, and although the BM was soft, it still brought on the pinch! My only guess is that, since I've been fighting a cold, perhaps I've been a bit dehydrated -- but I'm still drinking dang near a gallon of water per day! Image

Ouch!! Are you using any creams around ur o ??? If not, you should! I am a massive advocate for Vaseline. It will ease out ur bms and u shouldn't feel as "tight"
Stick with the Miralax/Movicol as this too will become your best friend! Hang in there Image

Using diltiazem + a 'roid gel with aloe, witch hazel, and vitamin E. Not that I can complain, I'm still virtual painless outside of the two second pinch during the BMs.

Oh no! I just wanted to say that I’m so sorry you’ve re-torn several days in a row. How frustrating!! It really is a step forward and a few steps back with AFs. I’ve recently re-torn myself and am feeling pretty discouraged. Am hoping that these three tough days will be behind (ahem) you soon and you’ll stay on the mend.
