Straining/anal fissure

Postby healthlove » 20 Sep 2021, 13:51

Hello guys , I am currently going through AS for over two months now.
I have noticed a problem that now and before the AS happened I have to strain
a lot during BM and I often feel like I am not completely empty. (I have BM everyday ,
although I have to only eat small amounts of food otherwise I would have to go twice.)
Often I have to help myself with hands by pressing in order to empty my bowels. I don't understand the fact that I have the urge to go to toilet but when I have BM I have to strain and struggle. How can I fix this? What is the reason that I cannot poop naturally and easily? I drink 2 l of healthy liquids mostly water. I eat very healthy foods like fruits, vegetables and I also take magnesium. I don't eat processed, fried or food with sugar. I also don't drink unhealthy drinks.

Please help

Hi there, I suggest you try pelvic floor physical therapy. You could benefit from biofeedback treatment where muscles are retrained to work correctly.
8/16-12/16: Fissure due to antibiotics
5/17: Botox to sphincter, fissure healed
9/19: Trigger point injections and pudendal nerve block
11/19: Botox to pelvic floor
8/20: Botox to pelvic floor in new location.
On and off in pelvic physical therapy
