This all sounds great. I’m so pleased for you and this is giving me so much reassurance for a 2.5 weeks time. Counting down the days! Can I ask about your skin tag sites - how are they healing? This is the bit I’m most worried about as the sentinel pile I have is really big (makes me feel so uncomfortable talking about this - no shame!). I’m concerned about how raw it will be when it’s removed. I don’t have a choice though - as I said it’s big, often swells and is pretty much connected to the fissure (I looked using a mirror last week and immediately wished I hadn’t). I think you said you had a couple removed - have they been easy to manage with cleaning/pain etc? Thank you for all these responses by the way - it’s providing me with a lot of comfort reading this good news story!

The skin tags I had were small and I haven’t had any pain from them being removed. I would imagine the pain from that would still be better than what you are going through now. As far as I am concerned, my fissure is now healed and I feel completely normal now.

This is super - well done for going through with it and thank you for sharing this. I hope this recovery is very much the norm and the horror stories we see here are the 5% when things don’t go well!
