I've been taking Puritan's Pride Magnesium Citrate Supplement(400mg/day) for 4 months now. I've learned that magnesium citrate helps in softening the stool, which works for me. My questions are:
-Anyone here taking magnesium citrate for years?
-Any side effects?
-Is it true that magnesium citrate reduces the absorption of nutrients from foods?
I noticed that I'm having hard time gaining weight since I started taking magnesium citrate.
