Hi there, glad to hear that you are seeing some improvements. The pain that you experienced at the 4 weeks mark, was it lasting a long time after the bowel motion. And was it similar to the spasm pain you experienced before. I had an LIS done around 4 weeks ago and I am still in pain. It is similar to what I experienced before the surgery. Standing are walking are pretty painful. Sitting or laying in bed seems to bring some comfort.
I didn’t have that fissure spasm pain after bowel movements, but I did have pain from the incision site. It hurt for sure, but not that horrible spasm pain. I bled and hurt for 5 months before I really noticed a large decrease in the pain. I can’t believe how fast some healed.
