in that case, I'm already on GTN but I've never heard or seen of a sitz bath before, I'll try to look into it.
would a regular bath work?

Yes! It’s really just convenience factor for you. Have you found the GTN ointment to help at all since u have been on it? It’s a combo of blood flow and keeping stools soft, I’ve found.

so the cream makes me really light headed, light sensitive and makes the room spin for a good 30 minutes but it works pretty well I'd say
