Would you ever use reusable cotton pads that you wash out for your monthlys to be more environmentally conscious?

You guys are driving away the males with these questions! I guess I could qualify to answer the question even though I wouldn't qualify in certain respects now, but I think I might try a reusable type of pad and see how bad/gross it was to get clean. I am feeling very "green" right now because I just returned from the grocery store with my cloth bag that I take each time. Many people really don't care about the environment and until more people start caring, I feel my efforts are somewhat meaningless, if you know what I mean. But if no one tried to clean up the environment, it would be worse than it already is I guess.

I could go on and on about the environment, but I really think a lot of people don\'t care or don\'t understand the importance of doing their part.
