Oh Tabby - buddy xxx- you will stop if you really want to and you can do it , it is just matter of timing and your resolution. Smoking is hard to kick because it is not only chemical that is involved and very "nice one" (it gives calm and energy at the same time !!!), but the whole mouth to hand maneuver (like it is hard for babies to kick the pacifier - oh boy do they scream !!!?????) and also social factor - it is connected to "special moments" (time for "us", time to share thoughts with friends, time of comfort, time of pleasure). So, cigaret is involved in soooooo many aspects in our life that giving it up is not easy at all !!!!! I have a friend who is a doctor and who was always telling me that I was crazy to stop smoking any time I get sick since I put my body under extra unnecessary stress LOL.
I started smoking when I was 27, than stopped cold turkey when I got pregnant. Than after 2 years I started again, than got sick -stopped cold turkey. After 2 years got well - stated smoking again LOL and so forth. I was never able to stop "gradually" - all or nothing is the only way for me ! I can honestly say that I never saw any difference in my health or over all feeling when I would stop smoking . I miss it still - just the other day when I had my CRS app. and got out of the building saw 2 nurses smoking and I took a deeeeeep breath LOL, as deeep as I could and said my hubby - the hell how it smells good !!!!! He felt so sorry for me that he almost wanted to buy me a pack LOL. His father is 83, smoked all his life - is healthy as can be - has a hernia - I do not think he got it by "puffing too hard " LOL

I got upset at my doctors as the hospital guidelines suggest to stop smoking 2 weeks prior, that got me all in a flap and she said exactly the same about stress levels, she told me not to think about it for now but to try that day before to be smoke free which i almost did !!
Moderation is the key
As i have grown up just a little i do know more so now that smoking is really bad and now i am such a health freak i think my time will come one day :roll:

So a week today since the botox and things do feel looser yes, no spasms, no glass feeling, no blood !
On my BM I have maybe just a little sting but nothing compared to previous torture...
I do ache a little after thou but i wonder if this is still tender days because of the jabs ?? and them delving around ??
Today it feels a little bruised inside but no fissure pain atall…

Do try to steel yourself for any minor setbacks, OK, so you don't get too down when it happens. And remember your fissure isn;t healed yet at all, probably, so try not to sit directly on it anymore than you must for the next few weeks!!

That is great news!  I am happy that you notice an overall improvement.  No more Gremlin bootie attacks.  I forbid it!I am sure you still feel bruised and sore from getting poked around in there.  Do you still take some baths?

Tabbygirl, I could have replied if I did understood what you write...Jabs??? What on earth is that? Delving around = you mean when they have their finger up your butt during the Botox shot? If so, yes, I was so sore after my first shot because of that.
Toot = fart?? Not very silent here either...
I am itching on and off, but honestly - I don't know if it is in the inside or the outside....
How I feel? Well today I bled during BM, and it was painful - so I am feeling just a little bit
I don't know what I did wrong yesterday, but my digestion has a will on its own it seems!!
