Hey Tabby, just checking in to see how our translator is doing!

Did you know my nickname used to be Tootie? Not for farting. At least I don't think so, anyway.
Hope you are having a good day. I got the In Rainbows CD and love Revolutors the best. The CD is so chill, isn't it? Thanks for the tip! Image

Pinky...Thanks sweetheart Image
Hey Tootie Image
Reckoner is my fave too !! Image
WOW the start just gets me...
I had to check out the lyrics for the whole album, Tom York is legend!
So glad you have some soothing tunes Image
Reckoner
You can't take it with you
Dancing for your pleasure
You are not to blame for
Bittersweet distractor
Dare not speak its name
Dedicated to all you
All human beings
Because we separate
like ripples on a blank shore
Because we separate
like ripples on a blank shore
Reckoner
Take me with you
Dedicated to all you
All human beings

Kim- For you ! Image

Hey Fruitcake :)
So just over 2 weeks since the botox and things are not like “Oh WOW what a difference “
What I am experiencing is no pain on BMs, No blood, Bigger and more formed BMs which can sometimes be a little slow moving !
When they come big and bulky I have that scary stretch feeling as if any minute my fissure will tear, I seem to be handling these OK or maybe its just sheer luck Image
I have maybe overdosed on the fibre again too so I have cut back for now !
So while I have no pain on BMs I do have on most days have that horrible achey/bruised feeling, There has been a few days where I have had no pain whatsoever but these are rare
Lastnight I ate ice cream and this morning was a great toilet time, go figure !
I give up sometimes what does it all mean someone tell me !!! :flush:
Corsi, Have you experienced any of the above, do you feel the Botox has helped you?
Are you willing for another shot ?
I have changed my post heading to surgery/botox so this can be found in the "Botox" search results :D

Hi Tabby,
Thanks for posting the Reckoner lyrics. Love it! My fav on STG is Don't Cry Out if you want to check it out. Also Stripped which is a Depeche Mode cover tune.
I imagine the bruising feeling is from the shots. I would think there would be some inflammation from that. That is great that you have no pain or blood. I know what you mean about eating. Sometimes I think I have it figured out what works and then it doesn't seem to matter in the end. Still looking for that perfect non-burning diet.

:D hey Tabby, thats good news that you have no blood or pain, maybe this one shot of botox will be enough to heal you - fingers crossed!
I'm not sure that diet helps much either Image I've always had a healthy diet, yet I still got the fissure, then hubby keeps buying me chocolate cos he feels sorry for me, and that hasn't had any effect either - bad or good Image I think if you eat pretty healthily most of the time things stay on track. Thats just my opinion based on my own experiences, everyones different and diet might play a huge part and make a big difference to some people!
And doesn't stuff taste lovely when you're not supposed to have it??? :D

I think I agree with you Val. If diet was so crucial, you would think more CRS' would emphasize it, but they don't. Except maybe for metamucil or other liquid fiber supplements, I have never heard of a CRS who insisted anyone radically change their diet...have you?
Someone who is really suffering and in agony every day should eat soft foods, I think. And I know when my stool volume was larger, I hurt more!
