Corsi dear,i know how unpredictable this fissure can be inspite of a good diet.how much low is your HB?its better to have transfusions if you are symptomatic.i felt terrible after blood loss following my delivery and kept on fainting.there was an amazing improvement after my tranfusion.
the manometry and rectoscopy should help in further treatment.Take care Image

When I feel pain now it comes from my fissure site , before the Botox the whole area inside would tighten , Can you relate to that ??? I suppose no spasms are the most important factor …
Hang on in there my Botox buddy , we are going to heal all in good time !
LOL…did the nitro give you lips a nice plump look…funny ! Image :

a nice plump look - you bet! Beautiful, shiny, paralyzed lips!! So hot, my husband couldn't stay away....had to stop using it Image
Any ideas of other places i can use my nitro cream?? Image
I can relate to that, when I have pain it is from one place = the fissure. I think that Botox has changed my butt a lot...
Do you feel positive? think you will heal? what stool softener do you use?
Image Is HB the same as iron storage Pinky? It was 9 this summer, but took a new test last week, will know on Tuesday. It isn't that low? It was 3 when I was diagnosed with celiac disease. It is supposed to be between 15 - 200. I'm lookink forward to getting the transfusions, need more energy.

Corsica -
Sorry you are not feeling well! Image Why are you getting another manometry done? Is it to see if the botox is working?

I guess it must be that he wants to check my sphincter pressure to see if I can have LIS (if all this doesn't work). Sometimes I just want to try LIS, because I think I am too tight = even if it heals with Botox it can retear again...
How are you doing now Jen? Do you think you will heal? How is your sweet little toddler?
Do you have Swedish relatives? The USA is made up of immigrants and natives, fascinating country, I "like" "The American Revolution"....

Corsi
You make me smile :D
I am glad you can relate, I feel this unpredictable butt is a whole new ball game !
I try to be positive but ....
I use Movicol/Miralax – I mentioned this last time we spoke !
I am also talking magnesium citrate supplement and wonder if your formed BMS would benefit from this ? it has softened things up for me , it could help !
Sending a big hug your way Image

Hey, I'm older than you - I forget things Image
I am such a sissy when it comes to taking things....sooo afraid I could be addicted (stool softener junkie Image )
Lecia was kind and sent me some, and so far I have just looked at the MOM and Miralax bottles (I'm always like this, has to get used to things and/or it has to be "right" - I know I'm crazy). The worst thing is that I know that I need it as my body insists on producing these Image formed BMs.
I know sweetie, it's hard to stay positive. This affects us in so many ways....
Will this help? Image Image Image Image Image

Okay, Corsica, do I need to come over and make you a miralax drink? We could put it in champagne and toast each other. But I understand. I am slow to try new things because what if it makes it worse and I can't take that! I always eye my doctors suspiciously at first when they suggest things because I don't want them monkeying around with my routine and I know my body better than they do. Image

Lecia,
I even argued with my Mayo doc when he wanted me to start Miralax. (so my husband says).
Corsi,
I am afraid to try new things also. I even had my ointment for several days before starting it. You could try a teaspoon of Miralax to start off with. I am sure you couldn't hurt anything with that small of a dose. You might be amazed at how much you like it!!

Maybe I'm waiting for you to come and force the Miralax in me Image
In Champagne? I would love that...I would really love a glass of wine too. Maybe I could use it if I want to indulge...that cannot to any harm?? I miss indulging - a lot!
Tabby, Lecia and Cheryl, let's meet for Champagnemiralax Cocktail?
Lecia the goodiebag from Norway will come eventually...I'm slow about everything Image
