Juney - I am so sorry

- it is maddening - no doubt about that !!!! Anybody here can relate and I think that all of us many times felt like all that pain is drowning us and that life with it is just not wort living :( . Since you are here for 2 years , you know that - many times we had members talking about depression and anxiety and we still have
many going through those feelings ! Remember Luxodent ? Now we have poor Raul

. At some point our body and mind just can't deal with all of that pain and frustration and I really am not promoter of meds, but really, if you need something - WHY suffer endlessly ? There are all kind of neurotransmitters getting jumbled up in our brain as a result of constant stress - any doctor will confirm that "stress is a killer". It effects EVERY SINGLE biochemical process in our body to the GRAT extent

.
When I was studying Biology we had to conduct experiment to see effects of a "stress reaction". Experiment lasted 4 weeks and experimental animals were pigeons. Birds were chosen on purpose, since they have "less " emotions than mammals and need a little to be "happy". The only stress factors were : temperature, ( one group was exposed to high heat , about 90 F day and night), other group did not have plentiful amount of food ( they were fed but with less calorie amount than control group), and the third group was in normal temp, and was fed plentifully. So, all in all, there was a small stress induced but oh boy was their metabolism screwed up

!!!! It was unbelievable !!!! When we took blood samples the difference in glucose levels, lipid panel, and differential blood cell count was significantly different in stress groups :( . So, we could clearly see that metabolic glucose was messed up, lipids were all over the place and immune system was weakened - and that was after ONLY 4 WEEKS !!!!
That said - I think that if you can save yourself additional emotional suffering and give your body some chance to rest in that aspect it might as well help you heal on physical level too. I hope that your GP will take your case seriously and prescribe the best med. for you ! Don't shy from pain medications either, as my last CRS told me - pain management is important part of healing !
Please let us know how you are doing - we really care
PS: Lecia - white oak "flying" your way ASAP
