I like the sound of this potion and I know you have posted this many times before !
I would like to see your potion available in the reference section so that others know where to find this valuable information and you will never have to repeat yourself again !
Your potion is worth its weight in gold Image
Hold on to that thought Juney - You did need to have this surgery and I am sure you did the right thing Image
Things have got to get better for you now....

i'm just trying to hang in there guys. i'm so frustrated and depressed i feel like i'm going crazy. today it's been 9 weeks since my 3rd failed surgery. i pray constantly now and every day it's a struggle to get out of bed. i guess i just have to get used to it and hope it doesn't get worse at least. i can function but i still have that nagging all-day pain every day. if i could just numb myself to it i would be ok.
i'm not going to see anyone else or get anymore opinions right now. my butt and my mind are completely traumatized. i'm tired of seeing drs, i'm tired of trying new things, i'm tired of thinking positive, i'm just plain tired of all this. i'm in such a funk right now i can't even think about anything else. i want the life that i lost 2 years ago back but i know i'm never going to get it.
sorry i haven't been on the board much in the last few days. i do appreciate all your thoughts, prayers, and support. i called my primary care dr about getting something to deal with the anxiety. just waiting for her call back. maybe that would take the edge off and help me mentally at least.

Juney -
I am so sorry you feel so down. Was there anything inparticular that triggered this raw feeling? I know at one point, you thought you were getting slightly better. I have read that it can take up to 6 months+ for these types of surgeries to start to heal you.
I am sorry Juney - Your in my thoughts & I am here if you need to chat!

Juney - I am so sorry Image Image - it is maddening - no doubt about that !!!! Anybody here can relate and I think that all of us many times felt like all that pain is drowning us and that life with it is just not wort living :( . Since you are here for 2 years , you know that - many times we had members talking about depression and anxiety and we still have
many going through those feelings ! Remember Luxodent ? Now we have poor Raul Image . At some point our body and mind just can't deal with all of that pain and frustration and I really am not promoter of meds, but really, if you need something - WHY suffer endlessly ? There are all kind of neurotransmitters getting jumbled up in our brain as a result of constant stress - any doctor will confirm that "stress is a killer". It effects EVERY SINGLE biochemical process in our body to the GRAT extent Image .
When I was studying Biology we had to conduct experiment to see effects of a "stress reaction". Experiment lasted 4 weeks and experimental animals were pigeons. Birds were chosen on purpose, since they have "less " emotions than mammals and need a little to be "happy". The only stress factors were : temperature, ( one group was exposed to high heat , about 90 F day and night), other group did not have plentiful amount of food ( they were fed but with less calorie amount than control group), and the third group was in normal temp, and was fed plentifully. So, all in all, there was a small stress induced but oh boy was their metabolism screwed up Image !!!! It was unbelievable !!!! When we took blood samples the difference in glucose levels, lipid panel, and differential blood cell count was significantly different in stress groups :( . So, we could clearly see that metabolic glucose was messed up, lipids were all over the place and immune system was weakened - and that was after ONLY 4 WEEKS !!!!
That said - I think that if you can save yourself additional emotional suffering and give your body some chance to rest in that aspect it might as well help you heal on physical level too. I hope that your GP will take your case seriously and prescribe the best med. for you ! Don't shy from pain medications either, as my last CRS told me - pain management is important part of healing !
Please let us know how you are doing - we really care Image Image
PS: Lecia - white oak "flying" your way ASAP Image

Well said Fiss, as always.sorry you are so low Juney.meds for anxiety will make the situation better for you to cope.are you still in a lot of pain or is it the nagging dull pain throughout the day?are BMs still painful?
You have to believe you will get your life back.even im feeling very low these days.this condition affects us a lot mentally and it takes time to feel normal again.
please dont give up so soon.try to get a second opinion when you are ready.
take care.
