*sigh*
So I've been on Colace now for two days, but I don't really see a difference. In fact, the bms have gotten harder. I'm definitely drinking enough water with the Colace, and I drink about 4 litres of water a day. (A glass an hour throughout the day.) I know it's a lot, but it was the only thing that helped me get back on track about a month and a half ago. Plus I'm nursing and I have to drink more water anyway.
And my diet hasn't changed dramatically either. All I've done is add a few more fruits and vegetables throughout the day and cut out cheese, granola bars, etc. I've cut out dairy except for some yogurt once a day. For over two months I've been eating Fibre One cereal in the morning with raisins. I used to eat it with skim milk but switched to soy a couple weeks ago. You know the rest: pears, dried apricots, whole grain bread, tomatoes, fish, whole grain pasta, and so on.
Lately I've been feeling "full" like everything isn't moving along quite as quickly as it should. This is so frustrating because even before the AF I wasn't really prone to constipation. I haven't been sleeping well for a few days so maybe that's causing the issue.
Can anyone relate? Any suggestions? Will the Colace eventually start working???
Thanks,
Merita
