I think it is still cold there, Cheryl!
Cheryl, we went to the King Tut exhibit this morning and it was very good, although there was actually more non-Tut related artifacts there than Tutankhamen tomb objects. There were a few awe-inspiring colossal statues, and a funerary mask that was pure gold and illuminated, it was almost too brilliant to look at. The actual Tut objects were beautiful, with fine workmanship -- lots of gold and lapis lazuli. I think I was more impressed with this show than the China one, it was also presented in a very dramatic fashion, lots of high-definition screens all over the place and even some silk curtains that had video projected on to it. Very cool.
I feel a little dejected today.
I have been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
