This is embarassing but I bet someone here has been in the same boat.
My BM's have been toilet busters lately. I have fought to keep things moving and as soft as possible, but sometimes it just isn't enough. I've just recently gotten very serious about controlling my diet and fluids, but sadly, the damage to my porcelain friend has been done. It seems like there is a blockage that is out of reach of a plunger.
We would prefer not to call a plumber or buy a snake until we've exhausted our cheaper options. Thankfully, we have two other potties.
Who has a great fix-it idea?

Maybe let it sit overnight and see if it breaks up enough to flush it in the morning. Thank goodness you have another outlet though.

Oh I hope so! It's been flushing very poorly for about two weeks. I don't use it at all, DH uses it because no TP of course. I thought about putting some Drain-O, but it clearly says not to use in toilets.

Maybe you could go back and just plunge the heck out of it?

Well, the dang thing overflowed all over the place. Good thing it hadn't been "used" in a while. The plumber came and did the auger thing on it and it was a couple of baby wipes stuck in there way down the pipe. My hubby must've put them in there. He looked a bit sheepish when the plumber pulled them out.
Whew! I am SO glad it wasn't me!
