You do what you have to, Dazzy-stay on the movicol as much as you need. Your bum needs time to heal after such an ordeal. I can't imagine what a nightmare this has been. You were a very sick puppy. That is good they are going to do another MRI to check up on things. You cant be too careful.
I'll be praying for your quick healing and relief from this ordeal quickly! :paddysmiley2:

its gd stuff, i taake 1 in the morning and one around 7 at nite.
and i have a very soft bm anytime between 8/9.30 am and thats me. tbh i thought id be going alot more with two movicols aday, but hey from having no bm`s for 3 weeks to going once aday for the past 3 week is just gr8 for me.

hello my friends just a very quick update.
ok so i got the mri scan this morning was in the tunnel for just under an hr, found the whole thing very relaxing, it was noisy but i had coldplay playing in the ear phones which was rather nice, especially wen "chasing cars" came on, so now they reckon it will be between 7/10 days when mr smith gets the pics of it, so they reckon around 14 days plus b4 i get a letter or call asking to go n and discuss the findings. but fingers x mr smith shall be on the ball and i get the call quicker, but with the nhs, i wouldbnt like to bet.
my abcess open wound is healing nicely, another 2/3 weeks should see the end of packings , i still get very tired though, i have gd days where i feel like superman, then next day i feel like a very old man,
am eating slightly more but on the scales today at the hosi i was 75 kg, which works out ive lost just over a stone since my op, and just over 3 stone wen all my trubs started in dec 08, scary stuff wen u say nd hear it like that.
oh well all i can do is wait now, to see wot the mri scans bring to the surface or if anything at all

Derry-B - I am absolutely sure MRI will not show anything :luckyeyes: What are they are looking for anyway ??? The only thing they can find would be some extra fistula tract and that they will fix like your present one and you will be up and running in no time . Now - you just relax and concentrate on your nice healing would - 2 more weeks bud and you are OUT of it all !!!! Your strength will be back as soon as you start moving around more and being on fresh air and eating nicely !!! Laying around makes our muscles go week and that is what you feel ! I was like that for a month or so after my first and second LIS , would tier just doing basic stuff. Do not worry about it
You managed to have an MRI - it is not a small task for a person in pain and with the wound up the butt !!!!! So, you are not that week at all - it is just that you are not AS strong as you used to be but you will be again very, very soon !!!! AND, your weight is just great, to be honest - you are in very nice shape LOL, Kim has almost same weight and is even taller so enjoy your new-found model contours LOL OK ????!!!!
