Hey all, just got back from 2nd follow-up

Postby sidra1968 » 10 Sep 2009, 09:55

Well, although i feel 98%, the doc put me on another round of Flagyl because the infection is still freaking there a tad..so, here I go to another tailgate this weekend with my Claustaler N/A beer! LOL Actually, it wasn't bad.
WELL, NG, your Tigers sure kicked our pathetic asses... did my team even know there was a game going on? SO many fans left early to make a statement to the coaching staff... and people were taking their shirts off and leaving them to be trampled in the Dome..lol.. I predict an extremely looong and terrible season after watching that debacle and effort (lack thereof actually).
Other than the game though, the weekend was GREAT! I won $300 at the casino, and no fissure problems at all!! It's funny, my SO and all the group was so down after the game (not that I wasn't) BUT...I just said to myself and him..."ya know, after what I went through, I just can't justify getting as upset as I used to over almost ANYTHING"...Ya know, everything compared to the fear in the mornings, the pain, etc. is just simply small effing potatoes..
So, gloat away, NG, you and your team sure deserve it. It was so bad that a lot of Mizzou fans actually felt sorry for us and Juice (I think he did ok, it was more the dropped passes, the fumble, his own guy stepping on his foot in the red zone..aaarrrrgghhh!!!) that did us in from the get go..
Well, off to get my second round of the strong stuff..gotta work 3p-12 am tonight, so I probably won't write back till tomorrow morning, but I'll read whatever you guys post!
p.s. Can we trade coaches?

Hey Sidra, nice to hear from ya! Yeah that was an ugly game. Juice was a bummer and the new Mizzou QB looked a lot better than I expected him to. This year's Illini definitely don't look too good. Just one game so far though so hard to say for sure.
Glad to hear you did alright with the fissure over the weekend. Sucks that it's still infected though -- did it at least improve?
And no, no coach trading Image

It's much improved, just not totally gone..I feel fine at least..wouldn't really know that I've had anything done. I hope this continues........(fingers crossed). In fact, I haven't actually taken the antibiotic yet..kind of wanted to see if it gets worse or better on it's own.. I may wait till Sunday to start it so I can tailgate freely for this Saturdays night game.
How are you feeling, NG?

Haha getting tired of the castrated beer I see :)
I've been okay lately, more okay than before anyway. My diet/ointment/Miralax/Valium regimen has made BMs largely uneventful. Still not gaining any weight, though, so I'm focusing more on that these days. I'm way off the bottom of the chart weight-wise for my height and my clothes don't really fit anymore. The fissure is still there (had it checked by the CRS this week) but it's not acting up the way it was before so that's good at least. I'm not getting too confident, though, I already made that mistake once before.
Do you make every home game?
