Her name is Jocelyn and she's keeping me happy.
How old is your daughter Lecia? Jocelyn is 2.
4 months!!!!!!!! Wow. I just really felt like it was getting better and that it wouldn't be much longer, and now I feel I little beat.
The hot baths today seems to be making it worse, which is weird, cuz that usually works.

Oh, and there have been times where there were some straining.
I've tried metamusil today to see if that helps.

Yeah, healing is not going to happen quickly I am afraid. Some of us it took months on our own and others needed surgery. I know that isn't what you want to hear but it will help you to know that we have been or are going through the long haul. I think at the minimum it can take 6-8 weeks after the cream.
Please do what you can to keep things going easily on the pot. Baths with Epsom salts really helped me too. And advil was my best friend for awhile. Try taking some aloe vera, or flax seed oil or fish oil to help keep the tract lubricated. Also a high fiber cereal like All Bran Buds will keep your fiber level up there.
I have two daughters-4 and 9!
They are sweeties!

6-8 weeks. Good Times! Urghh.
I've been taken some flax seed oil in liquid form. However I bought some pills and going to switch to that.
I've been getting between 30-40g of fiber a day and having a BM 2 times a day, but the BM continues hurt (espeacially at first) and do have strain a bit.
I'm allgergic to fish, so fish oil is not option there.
2 daughters is awesome. I remember I wanted a boy so bad, but 2 years later I'm so glad we had a girl.

Too much fiber may simply gove you too much stool volume, which was always the biggest problem I had. I always did best when I had my smallest Bms. I would suggest not getting much more than the recommended fiber for your size. Also get plenty of water at the same time you're ingesting the fiber, so the stools will stay soft rather than hard-tipped.

Too much fiber!
Man, this thing is impossible to deal with isn't it.
Ok, so that's a good suggestion, I'm going to lay off the fiber a bit.
As for the water, I drink crap loads, like 4-5 liters a day. (10 bottles of of water) and it's always hard tipped, most in the AM
Thanks so much for you help!

Are you taking a stool softener?
Hard-tipped poos are my nemesis. I've been taking Colace for the past week and it seems to have helped soften the poo somewhat.
I take 100mg in the morning and 100mg at night.

I've been trying Flax Oil.
I've looked for Colace, but not sure if it's sold in Canada

The generic name for it is docusate sodium.
You could also try a little milk of magnesia too.
