Can someone tell me if fisssure's get a scab while healing and if they do does it just come off as a process of healing? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm clueless.
I think the area merely closes up with no longer a "slit," but I think the closing is a very gradual process with several areas of skin to heal as it progresses. I don't think there is a "scab" as we are used to seeing when skinning a knee.
I don't think you get a scab as such, but I'd definitely say that scar tissue would build up around the fissure site as it's healing, this is what makes it hard to heal especially when you re-tear, more tears and healing = more scar tissue IMO anyway
I can't see mine either Timber....LOL Maybe thats a good thing for me. I think it would make me crazier... Afugh, How did you heal your fissure? If you don't mind me asking. That sucks about the other problems though.
