Maybe someone with a little more experience with both of these can tell you their experience.
I was taking just the fiber-drink (draws water into the stool and gives bulk and softness) and pro-biotics and high fiber diet at first - but I didn't get to the real soft and more pain free stage until I started taking the movicol (that might just be a coincidence, and that I was getting better with time, but I don't think so).

Well I have now had 3 painfree days and no bleeding. Took MOM as I knew I could not risk another constipation, and its been a miracle, lovely soft, no pain.
I only took 2 spoonfuls which is no where near the dose recommended but it seems to be working for me.
