@bBumbutt. Boerewors is the staple of a South African BBQ. The word literally means farmer sausage. It is popular all over Southern Africa. It is fresh sausage, not smoked, and is usually served with a type of porridge made from corn meal (called mealie meal in Southern Africa) and lots of salads. The sausage itself is spicy, and unbelievably delicious!! Have not had it for a few years, though you can get it made in the USA.
