Have you ever been to the Floriday Keys, and if so, what was your fav key? Alternate question--have you ever been on an "island vacation?"

I have been on an island vacation, to one of the outer islands of the Seychelles group of islands. Bird Island was as close to a perfect holiday as I think I have come close to. We flew in on a Piper Cherokee, and the island had little 'huts' on the edge of the beach, which goes all the way around the island. Birds were nesting everywhere, Sooty Terns being one lot and so many others. There was also a giant tortoise on the island, at the time over 200 years old and still going strong. Apart from the small hotel we were at, there were hardly any people on the island. It was absolutely gorgeous and I have never forgotten it. Truly lucky to have had the opportunity to have visited.
In the films that you have seen, have you preferred fantasy or reality?

I have trouble understanding fantasy, especially sci fi. I much prefer reality or something with a very simple-to-understand story line.
Do you have trouble keeping your skin adequately moisturized during these cold winter months?? What do you do to try to keep it from getting dry??

Oh Yes! Especially where I live because it's very dry. We have a shower oil/soap, and heavy duty moisturizers, and we put a wet towl on the radiator in the bedroom.
Are you afraid of any particular insect, snake, or spider, etc??

I wonder if a wet towel on the radiator would be more effective than the pan of water I have in front of the register. Image I run a vaporizer in my bedroom at night to help with hydration even though we have a humidifier on our furnace
I hate all of those things!! Particularly snakes!!
Do you find it difficult to resist sweets and desserts??

My own country of birth is the UK. Many countries that I love, but have to go with the Seychelles as that is where I grew up and all my childhood memories are there.
Do you have a hobby, and if so, what?

Red snapper is my favourite, but only when it is fresh out of the sea. So delicious!
