awww shucks... noelle..im blushing....
about this plug..where exactly does it go?i dont seem to have an "abcess" like a pimple or anything,just this puffy felling thing that seems to "drain" around where my fissure is? ....but if it has an 80% sucess rate,id say thats pretty good.

They thread the plug through the fistula, suture the top of the plug into the fissure/opening inside the anal canal (thus also suturing the fissure/opening closed), and then leave the other end open for drainage. The theory is that that the tissue grows in as the plug dissolves. Since the plug is also antibacterial, it helps to clear and prevent infection.

wow...sounds pretty complicated.though it does sound like it would work...
