Fecal Incontinence as you know is extremely rare.
Before Going in I knew my doctor had performed 100's if not a thousand LIS proceedures.
Simply ask you doctor how many has he or she has performed the surgery.
Get a referral... Never Trust a Doctor fully..Sorry...
I was misdiagnosed for 3 years before I found one that knew what he was doing so I have some angst..

I second Ouch. Get a CRS who has done more LIS's then they can count and when you ask if they've ever made any one incontinent- you want to hear the answer NEVER!!
