Hello everyone. my problem started maybe 3 months ago I noticed blood on the tissue after i would wipe. My ass always seemed to be wet and smell like shit even after i thoroughly cleaned myself. This went on for 3 months off and on. I went to a free clinic the other day and the doctor prescribed me some witch hazel pills, a stool softener, and acidophilus. He didnt tell me what I had though. I have another meeting with him in a week. Does anyone have an idea as to what i might have? I researched this online and it seems that hemorrhoids and anal fissures use this type of treatments. I want to know so that I can change my diet if i need to. Also should I avoid sitting in warm seats or anything similar? thanks

Hi Jun Bug, In case Hemorrhoids you get pain while having bowel movement and no likely pain after BM. But in case of Anal fissure you get pain during and after BM. I have no idea about fistula so cannot help with that. I would advice to get yourself checked by a Good Colo rectal Surgeon, who can give the exact diagnosis. In any case keep your stools soft, Eat green vegies & fruits,avoid lifting excessive loads and take care of yourself.
